Tammy's Comment: Sorry Taksin, I Rather be Buried in Dog Shit

But Tammy, why not be buried in a field of wild flowers?

  • by Tammy, this blog humanity journalist

I can understand when Taksin said when he passes away, he would like to be buried in Thailand. I mean Taksin loves Thailand and he was born here.

He does not want to end up in a foreign country all his life and pass away and be buried among the people that are not of his country.

But for me, until there is a cemetery in Thailand for those who dedicated their lives for Democracy and Liberty-literally speaking, I rather be buried in dog shit than in Thailand that is ruled by the Amart Royalist.

Oh, you think I am radical to be saying that do you?

Well get this-hundreds in Thailand have died fighting against dictators and military rule, with hundreds still missing-but just to get a monument for their sacrifices for democracy and liberty going-like took about 30 years. And you are right, the military was against it.

  • In Thailand, the life of a democratic activist or a life of those who fights for liberty, does not mean much. One foreign blogger recently told this blog a stranger walked up to him and said it only cost 5,000 baht to kill a foreigner in Thailand.

You can have a blog, like Thai Intelligence News, that fights to enlighten people globally of the struggle for democracy and liberty here in Thailand, and how repress it is-but like everyone else-we are trashed.

Many blogs are doing it still-fighting and struggling on. Many get lots and lots of hits. Many get complements from people globally. Many say through blogs that struggle for democracy here, in Thailand, it gives them hope to do the same in their countries. Then many other people gets inspiration, and blog after blogs spring into growth after seeing their former ones as examples.

  • Blogs after blogs say their struggling for something good in Thailand makes the bloggers themselves feel "Proud to be  doing good."

But when you walk outside the blog sphere into the wider Thai environment-even you own family or best friend can say you are shit and a total failure in life not to be dedicated to money, power, status and all the rest the Amart Royalist says is just so damn important in life in Thailand.

A friend blogger at one blog fighting fro democracy and liberty-to the point of spending most of his time doing it and wiling to take a career cut-like just imagine that-just told me he was called "Psychotic Total Failure" by his own father, who does not give a damn about democracy or liberty. And his father, a billionaire who spent hundreds of millions in his life on mistresses.

Taksin may want to buried here in Thailand and I wish he gets his wish.

  • But for me, I pray to god that he lets me be buried in dog shit, and not in Thailand.
