Block and censor
FACT has a post where it attempts a calculation of the number of sites/URLs blocked by the Abhisit Vejjajiva regime to the end of 2010. The number produced is425,296.That figure relies on some calculations that are based on government statements and may need some revision, but that is a scary figure.
FACT is blocked and so is PPT.
The notion that Thailand has been the land of the free has always been overdone. However, it seems reasonable to consider that there is little in the way of internet freedom in a land where the censor is rampant. Abhisit has done much to make Thailand far less free than it was before the military coup in 2006.
