Privy Council president and statesman Prem Tinsulanonda was admitted to Phramongkutklao Hospital in Bangkok on Wednesday evening after suffering abdominal pain, an army source said on Thursday.
Doctors inspecting the 94-year-old retired general found “irregularities” in his lungs and colon. Gen Prem stayed overnight on the ninth floor of Somdej Ya 90 Years Building, the source, who declined to be named, said.
