UN 'should abolish' lese majeste laws...

A Hong Kong human rights group on Friday called on the Thai government to release all prisoners held under lese majeste laws, and demanded that the United Nations act to force Thailand to strike down the main two laws involved. The Asian Legal Resource Centre, in a press release purporting to be a letter to the United Nations Human Rights Council, said the Thai lese majeste laws prevent full freedom of speech in the country.
