- Europeans must look beyond postcard images of beaches and long-tail boats when thinking about Thailand, and for Europe’s economies to reconsider their perception of the country as a mere source of electronic equipment, machine parts, and exotic fruits. They must see Thailand for what it is: "A nation of strategic importance".
