USB Type-C enables a new user-friendly connector, 100-W USB Power Delivery, and 10 Gbps SuperSpeed+ USB 3.1. In addition to this, it allows non-USB data such as PCIe and DisplayPort to be transmitted on a single USB Type-C cable.
